Welcome to the Satisfied Life Foundation, a driving force for igniting hope and installing a positive mindset in teens desperately in need of a second chance.
We are a 501 (C) (3) Non-Profit dedicated to healing trauma and cultivating resilience in teens who’ve endured abuse and hardship.
When you were growing up, did you ever say this?
“I can’t wait until I’m hooked on drugs, homeless, and
a victim of sexual abuse.”
Neither did these innocent kids.

Our Ambition
At the heart of our mission is a bold, audacious dream: to cultivate a world where every teen is nurtured, protected, and brimming with positivity. A world where safety isn’t a privilege but a fundamental right. A world where no teen has to fear harm, where the shadow of suicide and assault is crowded out by the light of compassion, understanding, and unwavering support. A world where negativity and self-defacing thoughts are replaced with confidence and optimism about their future.
“There can be no keener revelation of a society’s soul than the way in which it treats its children.”
~ Nelson Mandela, Former President of South Africa
The Challenge
Teens today grapple with unprecedented and intricate social challenges that seep into the very fabric of their existence. The silent specter of mental health issues casts a heavy shadow, while the terrifying grip of suicide silently claims too many promising lives. The horrifying frequency of sexual assault is an unspoken violation, stealing innocence from our sons and daughters. These aren’t mere statistics, but echoes of real lives – our children – whom we are duty-bound to protect, nurture, and uplift.

Our Solution: Changing Their Inner & Outer Worlds
In the face of these stark realities, the Satisfied Life Foundation stands firm. We believe passionately in the potential within each and every teen, and are committed to transforming their self-doubt into self-worth, and shifting their entire paradigm of thinking from despair to hope.
We’re not just about meeting basic survival needs, we’re about instilling confidence, promoting resilience, and fostering an environment that radiates safety and self-acceptance. Through our robust network of support, we take a strengths-based approach to empower families and children alike, encouraging them to rise above their circumstances, bolster their self-esteem, heal traumas, and break cycles of harmful and self-destructive thought patterns and behaviors in order to navigate their path toward a better future.
A Strong Mind;
A Satisfied Life
Our vision is colossal and crystal clear. We see a world where every child – no matter their past, no matter their present – has the ability to lift themselves out of hardship, fortified with strength and courage. A world where the term ‘vulnerable’ is no longer a descriptor for our children, but rather ‘victorious’. A world where ‘satisfied’ doesn’t just denote basic survival, but signifies a life bursting with joy, purpose, safety, and fulfillment.
7 Keys to Transforming Teen Mindsets
- Rebuilding Trust: Teens can only regain trust in themselves and the world through a positive mindset.
- Removing Weeds of Negativity: Addressing mindset eliminates the negative thoughts and beliefs that hinder healing
- Fostering Resilience: A positive mindset nurtures resilience, enabling these teens to withstand life’s storms and challenges.
- Restoring Hope: Healing the mindset rekindles hope, allowing these teens to envision a brighter future.
- Unlocking Potential: With a healthy mindset, these teens can unlock their full potential and thrive.
- Breaking Cycles: Addressing mindset disrupts harmful behavioral patterns, leading to personal growth.
- Creating a Safe Space: A healed mindset creates a mental safe space for these teens, which fosters and enables positive growth.
“Every child deserves a champion—an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and insists they become the best they can possibly be.”
~ Rita F. Pierson, Educator & Advocate of Children
